St. MATTHEW MERGES FAITH FORMATION WITH ST.PAUL-EDGEWOOD CRANSTON

Dear Faith Formation Parents and Students,

I have some wonderful news! St. Matthew Church has now partnered with St. Paul Church, Edgewood-Cranston for a combined religious education program. St. Matthew will pay fees (if any) to St. Paul Church for all participating families. This new partnership will benefit both parishes. St. Paul uses the same ’Growing In Faith’ curriculum that we began here last year. Our parents/guardians and students will already be familiar with the books and schedules, so it will be a continuum. Classes will be monthly for students and families; to be held at St. Paul Church.

Registration will be held on September 17th and September 20th at St. Paul Church. Classes will begin in October 2023.

I pray for the success of this new joint partnership with St. Paul and know that the merge will benefit both parishes. God Bless,

Fr. Bengford

FAITH FORMATION REGISTRATION AT ST. PAUL CRANSTON:

As there is so much information to share, we ask families to attend an in-person registration session to learn about the program and sign up instead of just submitting a form. This year we are offering 2 sessions (same information).

Families should plan to attend either session:

September 17th – Sunday morning at 10:30AM OR
September 20th – Wednesday evening at 7:00PM

Both sessions take place in Saint Paul School auditorium. 1789 Broad St. Cranston, RI 02905. Front & side doors will be marked with signs. Yearly schedules, and full information will be made available at the sessions.

WE WELCOME THE FAMILIES AND STUDENTS OF ST. MATTHEW CHURCH!
